Bcotb's Bridge Program is the Answer to the Waitlist
There has never been a higher demand for quality ABA services. According to one report, the demand for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) has more than doubled in recent years (Burning Glass Technologies, 2015). While ABA is continuing to grow as a field and help many more children than ever before, the effects of this tremendous growth are—unfortunately—commonly seen in waitlists. We at BCOTB often meet with families that have sought local services only to be put on waitlists, sometimes lasting an entire year. That’s a year that you may go without direction for your child. That’s a year that your son or daughter will not receive necessary education. That’s a year to fall further behind. BCOTB finds this waiting time to be unacceptable, and that’s why we started our Bridge program. The Bridge Program is not your typical waitlist. It offers custom treatment and faster results.

What is the Bridge Program?

While BCOTB makes every effort to start services with clients as quickly as possible, the demand for intensive in-clinic therapy sometimes exceeds our current offerings. Our Bridge Program ensures that you and your family receive consultative services from either a BCBA or BCaBA while you wait for your timeslot in-clinic. Consultative services consist of in-home observations, written recommendations, caregiver trainings, school collaboration, and limited sessions in-clinic. In addition to being customized to you and your child’s needs, our Bridge Program gives you continued support through your assigned BCBA/BCaBA.

How exactly is the Bridge Program different from other companies’ waitlists?

Unlike other ABA centers that may put you on a waitlist and call you months later, we at BCOTB will keep in contact, scheduling in-home collaboration and consultation. You are not alone with us! While your child participates in the Bridge Program, we will be hard at work, preparing to fill your desired therapy timeslot in-clinic.

Since 2003, BCOTB has been honored to serve the Tampa Bay Area. Our Bridge Program is just one more way that we can make a difference in our community and in our clients’ lives.
