What is Autism?
According to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Autism is defined as a “neurological and developmental disorder”. Each individual experiences autism differently, but most cases can be identified starting at 18 months old. Every case is different and may benefit from specialized approaches. Some cases can benefit from ABA Therapy and similar programs, that curate programs specifically for a child with autism.
